Kimberly Vue is the Academic Advising Manager of the PEOPLE College Success Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In this role, Kim supervises the College Advisors, advises a caseload of undergraduate scholars, and provides oversight to operational activites within the advising portolio and program management of the college unit.

Kim is an innovative student services professional, a dedicated advisor, and a tireless student advocate. Adopting an advising philosophy informed by her own background as a proud first-generation and low-income college graduate, and eldest daughter of refugees, Kim is passionate about student development, social justice, identity, access and Indigenous sovereignty. As a UW-Madison and TRIO/CeO Alum, Kim earned a Bachelors degree in Social Welfare with Certificates in Education, Educational Services and Leadership, and Asian American Studies while serving in various leadership roles within the Multicultural Greek Council as a proud sister of alpha Kappa Delta Phi.

During Kim’s time with the PEOPLE Program, she has served as the Extension PCA (Precollege Advisor), led the Team Building and Character Development program during PEOPLE’s summer residential program, established and overseen the Marketing Internship program, and helped launch the Student Leadership Team as a part of PEOPLE’s college success programming.
